About the Role:
ARX is looking for a dynamic and experienced professional in Procurement & Contract Management to join our team for a prestigious Metro Rail Project. The role involves managing end-to-end procurement processes, preparing and administering contracts in compliance with FIDIC, handling tendering, variations, claims, and supporting system and civil packages.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the end-to-end tendering and contract management process, from document preparation to bid evaluation and award for both civil and system (E&M) works.
- Prepare and float RFQs, tender documents, BOQs, rate analysis, and cost estimates in compliance with FIDIC and project-specific requirements.
- Draft, review, and execute contracts for civil infrastructure and system packages such as power supply, HVAC, firefighting, station utilities, and other E&M works.
- Oversee pre- and post-award contract administration, including contractor billing, claims, variation orders, EOTs, and dispute resolution.
- Maintain comprehensive contractual records, including timelines for renewal, extension, approvals, and formal notices (e.g., EOTs, terminations, extra item claims).
- Coordinate with internal teams (planning, design, QS, and execution) to ensure contract deliverables align with project timelines and budgets.
- Evaluate technical and commercial bids, participate in vendor negotiations, and ensure integration of system contracts with civil construction schedules.
- Prepare internal briefing notes, meeting minutes, and maintain clear and professional correspondence with contractors and clients.
- Ensure timely approvals, compliance, and risk mitigation throughout the procurement and contract lifecycle.
Candidate Profile:
- Education: Graduate in Engineering (Civil/Mechanical/Electrical preferred).
- Experience: 10+ years of relevant experience, with a minimum of 4 years of experience in metro rail projects.
- Strong knowledge of FIDIC contracts, tendering, claims, and variation management.
- Proven ability in managing civil and system-related procurement and contract workflows.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and documentation skills.
